Easy Seafood Paella

Has the thought of spending ages stood by the stove put you off having a go at making paella in the past? Then this is the recipe for you! We’ve simplified the whole process with our Easy Seafood Paella recipe. It’s quick, it’s tasty, and it’s made with storecupboard staples and our Frozen Seafood Paella Mix—perfect for a tasty weekday meal in a hurry.


1 tbsp Olive Oil
1 Onion
100g Chorizo Sausage
1 tsp Tumeric
300g Long Grain Rice
1 litre Chicken or Fish Stock
200g Frozen Peas
400g Dockside Frozen Seafood Paella Mix


Dice your onion and chorizo and heat the olive oil a large frying pan (or paella pan if you have one). Add the onions and gently soften, without browning them ideally. Add the diced chorizo and fry. Once the oils are released, stir in the turmeric and dry rice, coating it with the oil. Pour in the hot stock, bring to the boil and then simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Add the frozen peas and simmer for a further five minutes. Add the Dockside Frozen Seafood Paella Mix and simmer for a further 5 minutes or until everything is cooked. Garnish with thick-cut lemon wedges and serve straight from the pan.
