Boneless Kippers
Kippers are rich in Omega-3 polyunsaturated fats which is said to help lower cholesterol and reduce the risk of heart disease. They are a good source of vitamin A which helps keep your skin healthy and maintain strong vision. They are also a good source of vitamin D, which supports a strong immune system and helps keep your bones healthy. Although these are as close as you can get to a kipper without bones, there are likely to be several small bones in each 150g fillet.
Serving Suggestion
Serve boneless kippers with spinach, bacon, new potatoes and a poached egg for a light summer salad.
