Easy Seafood Paella

It’s quick, it’s tasty, and it’s made with storecupboard staples and our Frozen Seafood Paella Mix—perfect for a tasty weekday meal in a hurry.

Ingredients

1 tbsp Olive Oil
1 Onion
100g Chorizo Sausage
1 tsp Tumeric
300g Long Grain Rice
1 litre Chicken or Fish Stock
200g Frozen Peas
400g Dockside Frozen Seafood Paella Mix

Preparation

Step 1

Dice your onion and chorizo and heat the olive oil a large frying pan (or paella pan if you have one).

Step 2

Add the onions and gently soften, without browning them ideally.

Step 3

Add the diced chorizo and fry.

Step 4

 Once the oils are released, stir in the turmeric and dry rice, coating it with the oil.

Step 5

 Pour in the hot stock, bring to the boil and then simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Step 6

Add the frozen peas and simmer for a further five minutes

Step 7

Add the Dockside Frozen Seafood Paella Mix and simmer for a further 5 minutes or until everything is cooked.

Step 8

Garnish with thick-cut lemon wedges and serve straight from the pan.
