Manx Kippers

Our Manx Kippers come direct from their birthplace in the Isle of Man. They are prepared using traditional methods to give them their distinctive flavour. The herring is split, gutted and brined, before being hung as a pair and cold smoked for three to four hours. This retains the delicious oils of the fish, which are also highly nutritious. Each pair weighs approximately 300g.

Manx kippers add a wonderfully rich flavour to classic kedgerees and risottos!
