Frozen Herring Melts
These soft roes of male herrings are simply delicious! We call them herring melts because they really do melt in the mouth. The rich, creamy texture makes this part of the fish, in our opinion, sorely overlooked. Herring melts can be prepared simply from defrosted or frozen, by gently frying in butter until tender. Available in 454g bags.
