Fresh Lemon Sole Fillets

Lemon sole is something of a misnomer as it does not taste of lemon, nor is it a sole; it is actually a flounder from the same family as halibut and turbot. It gets its name from its pale yellow colour. Our Lemon Sole fillets range from 150g to 200g and come with their skin on and pin bone in place, which helps retain flavour and keep the delicate flesh together during the cooking process. The light texture and flavour of lemon sole fillet calls for a simple cooking process, served simply with butter or lemon juice.

Ingredients: Lemon Sole (Microstomus kitt) (Fish)

Allergy Advice: For allergens, see ingredients in Bold.

Serving Suggestion

Cut your lemon sole fillets into goujons and coat with breadcrumbs. Serve with homemade chips, mushy peas and tartar sauce for a classic British supper.
