Fresh Butterfly Trout Fillets

Our butterflied trout fillets are perfect for stuffing! We remove most of the bones (pin bones remain) and leave the skin on to give you a larger surface area to work with. The flavour of trout, similar to salmon, lends itself to a variety of herbs and flavours, so you can stuff these fillets generously and serve as a dinner party centrepiece or weekday meal. Our butterflied trout fillets make a wonderful alternative to salmon, for those looking for a change.

Serving Suggestion

Coat butterflied trout fillets with onion, dill, fennel and capers and drizzle with olive oil before wrapping in tin foil and baking.
