Spiced plaice goujons

Ingredients

4 oz plain flour

3 oz skinless plaice fillets

1 tsp turmeric

1/2 tsp paprika

1 tsp live oil

 

Method

01. Mix the flour, paprika and turmeric together in a bowl and add the plaice fillets. Cover the fillets completely in the flour mix and then remove.

02. Heat a griddle pan and lightly brush with oil. Add the fish goujons and cook for about 2 minutes per side until golden and cooked through.

03. Serve on their own with dips as a light lunch or afternoon snack or alternatively serve with potatoes or salad. Tuck in, enjoy!
