Ingredients

Fresh Tuna Steaks

2 tbsp mayo

2 tbsp sour cream

1 tsp lemon juice (or lime)

1/2 onion, finely chopped

2tbsp cream

1/4 cup cilantro

1 tsp vegetable oil

Cheese

Shredded Lettuce

Tortilla Chips

 

Method

01. Mix together the mayo, cream, sour cream and lemon juice. Stir together the onions and cilantro and set both aside.

02. Heat the oil in your griddle/frying pan. Turn the heat up high and cook your tuna for about 2 minutes per side. Tuna steaks cook very quickly so just check that it is cooked to your required taste.

03. Heat another pan and place the tortillas in it. Heat the tortillas (turning once or twice) until they are hot.

04. Chop your tuna steaks in to small bite size pieces and add to the tortillas.  

05. Add your onion and cilantro mix to the nachos and drizzle over your cream sauce.

06. Shred your lettuce and grate your cheese. Add the cheese to the nachos and pop under the grill for about 30 seconds. Remove from the grill and add your shredded lettuce.

07. Serve immediately and always have a nice bottle of Mexican hot sauce to hand.
